The Bird of Paradise is probably one of my favorite flowers of all time. They are so expressive and full of color. I made this piece as an homage to my days in Hawaii, with the blues representing the many lovely blues of the ocean, and the oranges and yellows representing the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. "Look back only in glances — just enough to learn, never enough to stall."
