Here's my interpretation of a Red Drum fish...AKA "Red Bass", "Channel Bass", or "Drum". I love the black dot on the tail fin. They like to hang out along shell bars and rocky or grassy shorelines and shallow flats. They also roam in coastal rivers and creeks at any time ofyear and in winter swarm into them, seeking warmer water. The world record is 94 pounds, 2 ounces. To fisher-people they are known as a fine gamester--they have strength, stamina and fairly long runs. There you have it! I just think they're pretty. Silly me!
